C1 – Interact Orally
Goal: Speak and interact in English in different situations.
Strategies:
- Listen actively (look, nod, respond).
- Ask for help: “Can you repeat, please?” / “What does _ mean?”
- Use simple words if you don’t know the exact one.
- Take turns when speaking.
- Don’t be afraid of mistakes.
Example: If you forget the word umbrella, you can say “the thing for the rain.”
C1 Practice (Oral)
- With a partner, practice asking for clarification: “Can you repeat, please?” / “What does _
mean?” - Role-play: order food at a restaurant in English.
